ATX I/O Shield Selection Guide


Note: An ATX I/O Shield is a small metal plate located at the back of each rackmount chassis that provide openings for different I/O ports, (serial, parallel, PS/2 ports, USB), of a motherboard. Operating a system without I/O shields will not affect the functionality of the system but will leave small visible gaps on the back of the system. The ATX I/O shields listed on this page are designed specifically for the rackmount chassis manufactured by RackSource, Inc. They are not compatible with any other chassis.

By default, each chassis is equipped with one I/O shield listed on their corresponding product page. If you require a different I/O shield, please phone in your request. If you cannot find the I/O shield that you require, please send an email to support@racksource.com with the following information:
